Christmas Parties

My favorite season is finally here and I am so excited to celebrate it one more time with my dearest friends at Small and Beautiful. Honestly, they are more like, my second family. They have always treated me like the little princess, cooking my favorite things, never getting tired of my weird requests of how to prepare my coffee in the morning, letting me take pictures of every single dish so that I could post them on Instagram and Facebook even when the kitchen was really busy. They have always supported me every time I had an exam and always made me laugh with their funny jokes. I am so proud of all of them because they never fail to amaze me with their willingness to work and make everyone happy, especially during this time when Christmas parties are endless. The restaurant has been packed every day with people celebrating, drinking and eating the delicious food from our Festive Menu. We decided to give Small and Beautiful a new look in order to make the parties extra special. Obviously, the most important items are the two Christmas trees and the ornaments that make everything sparkle. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy and as soon as you come inside you don't want to leave anymore. You can smell the coffee which is being grounded, you can see people smiling while enjoying their Full English Breakfast or their Eggs Benedict and you can listen to us all singing ''All I want for Christmas is You''. Still, that is not the only thing that has changed, we have also redecorated our VIP room by adding white linen table clothes and red napkins. Yes, it takes so much work to keep them clean and perfectly ironed but it is totally worth it when we see our customers' surprised faces. The feedback until now has been really great and we are so thankful. 

Personally, I enjoyed decorating the restaurant but as you might know, I loved trying every single item of the Festive Menu. The Tricolore Salad comes with a new look and it is the perfect starter before a Rib Eye Steak. Chicken Liver Pate is just so delicious and I usually order it before Char-Grilled Chicken Breast or Knuckle of Lamb. We also have two vegetarians options on the menu, Garlic Mushroom, and Risotto alla Caponata. It took me a while though, to decide which is my favorite dish and the competition was really high between Roast Turkey and King Prawns alla Nona, but I would say that the star of our Festive Menu is definitely Roast Turkey.

For the desserts, we have the three top sellers: Pannacotta with Poached Pear, Tiramisu, Banoffee Pie and obviously Christmas Pudding with cream and cranberry sauce. 

We have worked really hard to make Small and Beautiful the perfect place to celebrate Christmas and I would invite everyone to come and have a great time with all of us. We have great music, surprises, delicious food, and great wine.  

Ps. I almost forget to tell you that the Festive Menu comes with a free glass of prosecco :)
